Satin Sleep Bonnets

Are they one size fits all?

Our Satin Sleep Bonnets are one size fits most. If you've got a lot of hair, braids or dreads - we've got a special XL size coming for you soon πŸ‘€

Can kids wear them?

We've trialled our bonnets on a 7-year-old and she looked absolutely adorable πŸ˜‚πŸ§‘

That said, everyone's hair and sleep style is different. We found that the bonnet did come off overnight, so for little ones (or particularly enthusiastic sleepers!), we'd recommend using a couple of small clips to help keep it securely in place.

Always make sure any clips or accessories are age-appropriate and comfortable for the child.

Can I put my hair in the bonnet while it's wet?

Respectfully... no πŸ˜‚

We recommend making sure your hair is completely dry before putting on your Hibiscus Hair Satin Sleep Bonnet.

Satin isn't absorbent, so if you put wet hair into your bonnet, you're likely to wake up with... wet hair.

We recommend applying your usual oils, creams or other hair products before putting your hair into your bonnet, then letting the satin do its thing while you sleep.

How should I wear my hair before putting on my bonnet?

Honestly? It depends how you sleep πŸ˜‚

If you're a peaceful little angel who barely moves all night, you might be perfectly happy popping your hair straight into the bonnet.

If you dance in your sleep, however... we'd recommend putting your hair into an easy updo or loosely plaiting it first. This can help keep everything contained and make it less likely that your bonnet - or your hair - goes wandering during the night.

Will a satin bonnet help with frizz?

A satin sleep bonnet can help reduce friction while you sleep. Its smooth surface allows your hair to move more easily, which can help minimise the rubbing and tangling that can contribute to frizz.

It won't magically eliminate every type of frizz (hello, humidity πŸ˜‚), but reducing overnight friction can help your hair look smoother and more defined when you wake up 🌺

Microfibre Hair Wraps

Who do the hair wraps fit?

We've trialled these on adults with varying lengths and volumes of hair, and they fit perfectly.

We also tested the Microfibre Hair Wrap on a 7-year-old and the fit was 10/10.

What are the benefits?

Our Microfibre Hair Wraps are a gentler option than the twisting, pulling and rough rubbing that can happen when drying your hair with a traditional towel 🧑

The soft microfibre helps absorb water while being kinder to your hair, helping to minimise friction, tangling and the potential for breakage.

And the added bonus? They dry much faster than a traditional towel!

We recommend washing your wrap every 2–3 uses (or about once a week) to help prevent bacteria and product build-up.

How long should I wear my hair wrap for?

In our experience, 10-20 minutes is the optimal amount of time. This gives the microfibre material enough time to absorb the dripping water.
